North Island Hospital Comox Valley

July 16, 2025, Hi, I live in Port Alberni. I got up early for my friend to take me to your hospital emergency, to see if they could help me. Wow, what nice, friendly, caring nurses, they all went above & beyond in helping me and explaining things for me on why my Urolgist Dr. it town did this & that, & maybe he shouldn't have done sertion things, they sent me a referral to a Urolgist Dr. in Courtny, and I'm not waiting very long, Thank you once again Linda Bonk - Browning

This hospital and their staff are our hero's in a tough time during this horrible COVID-19 pandemic working overtime making sure we stay safe and healthy.

Been waiting for an Mri date for weeks. went to the ER was laughed at and mocked about maybe having MS. The doctor says as long as i'm not dying tonight they can't help me at the ER. So now i'm currently sitting here every day losing feeling in my body and eye sight. One time they wouldn't even let a doctor see me because i was just having a panic attack in their eyes. i sat in a recliner chair for 3.5 and not one single person checked up on me. just to be laughed at when the doctor came.

Losing my mom disturbed me and putting her in a pair of men’s pants was awful...which she ended up getting a rash from!! Who puts an 82 year old lady in a pair of men’s pants and then lose her!!! Not impressive
